- communities are strengthened and safer, more integrated, less isolated and vulnerable
- wellbeing for children, young people, men, women, older people and whanau/families is being achieved
- more people are accessing services and activities that meet their needs
- volunteers are valued, well trained, supported and proactively encouraged
- social and cultural diversity is celebrated, validated and supported
- people are engaged, connected and encouraged to participate in their communities to foster a sense of belonging
- Whānau Ora or Kaupapa Māori services are well resourced and supported.
