What are the community outcomes for the COGS Wairarapa committee?

The COGS community outcomes for Wairarapa are:

  • our communities benefit from locally focused organisations who collaborate and provide visible, accessible services that meet the needs within our communities
  • volunteers and community organisation staff are valued, well trained and resourced and have access to appropriate supervision and mentoring support
  • people in our communities are less socially or rurally isolated and have ready access to services, transportation and technology
  • people accessing mental health, disability, and early intervention services are supported and integrated into the community
  • young people engage and contribute positively to their local communities
  • families/whānau in our communities are strengthened and empowered through culturally appropriate and accessible services.
