What are the community outcomes for the Auckland COGS committee?

The COGS community outcomes for Auckland are:

  • people in our local communities are supported, celebrated, strengthened, less isolated or vulnerable and experience greater wellbeing and inclusiveness
  • organisations promoting Kaupapa and Māori services are supported
  • volunteers are valued, well trained, supported and resourced
  • people can find, access and participate in community activities and services, including those living in isolated communities
  • communities are safer, have reduced crime and unemployment
  • existing organisations helping poor or vulnerable people, or those impacted by poverty are more sustainable
  • children, youth and families are valued and mentored towards positive community engagement and resilience.
